Repeating SYNVISC® Treatment

If you've already had SYNVISC treatment, you may know what a pleasure it is to enjoy your favorite activities again. If you're like most SYNVISC users, you've experienced up to 6 months of pain relief, which may have led to improved mobility. Gradually, however, your osteoarthritis (OA) symptoms may return. But you can do something about that. You can talk to your doctor about another course of SYNVISC treatment.

How do you know when it might be time for another treatment?

• Keep track of your symptoms. If pain or stiffness increases, talk to your doctor about scheduling an appointment before your condition gets worse.
• Pay attention to your other knee. OA often starts in one knee, but you may become aware of symptoms in your other knee. You can get SYNVISC treatment in one or both knees at the same time.

Don't hesitate to ask for relief. If your knee pain is returning, ask your doctor if another course of treatment is right for you.
